UQ Taraweeh Prayer Notice 1445H / 2024 CE
Location: Prayer Room, Musallah (UQ Multi-faith Centre Building 38)
Time: Week One of Ramadan, Isha from 7:30pm. From week two, Isha starts at 7:15pm. Then Taraweeh prayer & witr.

Details of How Much is Recited:
InshaAllah, we will again recite the whole Qur’an during this Ramadan, like previous Ramadan, as the 4 Imams of Fiqh recommended, based on the Sunnah. One page per Rak’ah over 20 Rak’ah. One juz per night. Complete the Qur’an by 29th Ramadan. Those who need to leave early can pray 8 Rak’ah and those who do not, can complete the Qur’an in 20 Rak’ah per night, inshaAllah!
Iftar at UQ 1445H/ 2024 CE
We will do Iftar at UQ again this year as per previous year, inshaAllah:
- Depending on how much money people give for Iftar, we will hold Iftar by the cafeteria area nearby {Please note: Strictly no eating inside Prayer Room, thanks}
- Every Thursday, 50 packs of iftars will be distributed by the cafeteria area near to Musalla at Maghrib time.
Like in the past, please contribute by giving money for Iftar at our official bank account below and we will organise the food and distribution, etc. Please do NOT bring own made food for mass distribution.
