Eid Adha for 2022 has been confirmed via moon-sighting on 30th of June 2022. The Hilāl of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted in Alice springs. Hence, the month of Dhul Hijjah will commence from Friday, 1st of July 2022. The Eid Adha will take place on Sunday, 10 July 2022.
For those people who followed the opinion of calculation and Global moon-sighthing (Makkah), the Eid will be on Saturday, 9th July 2022.
